Terms of Service

1. The Service

Alchemist PRO provides two tools: a website transmuter (converts live URLs or HTML files into Angular or React projects) and an accessibility auditor (scans for WCAG/508 compliance issues). The Service is available via the web application at alchemist-pro.com and optionally via the Chrome browser extension.

2. Your account

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Providing accurate account information

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Transmute websites you do not own or do not have explicit permission to copy
• Use the Service to infringe copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Attempt to circumvent plan limits through technical means (multiple accounts, API abuse, etc.)
• Use the Service to capture or store personal data from third-party websites without authorization
• Resell, sublicense, or distribute access to the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

4. Ownership of generated output

When you transmute a website, you receive a ZIP file containing Angular or React source code. You own this generated code output. You may use, modify, and deploy it for any purpose, commercial or personal, subject to the following:

• You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to the source website's content before transmuting it
• The generated code may include content (images, text, styles) from the source website — you are responsible for clearing the rights to that content separately
• We make no warranty that the output is free from third-party intellectual property claims

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered on a freemium basis:

• Free plan — 5 transmutations/month, 1 page per job, 24-hour ZIP download window. No charge.
• Pro plan — $19/month (or discounted annual rate). Unlimited transmutations, 100 pages per job, 30-day ZIP storage, PDF export.
• Enterprise plan — $99/month. Unlimited everything, API access, white-label output, permanent ZIP storage.

Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance via Stripe. You may cancel at any time — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

6. ZIP file expiry

Generated ZIP files are stored temporarily. Expiry depends on your plan:

• Free — 24 hours from generation
• Pro — 30 days from generation
• Enterprise — never expires

We strongly recommend downloading your ZIP immediately after generation. We are not liable for files that expire before you download them.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for losses resulting from downtime.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the output will be error-free or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alchemist PRO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at legal@alchemist-pro.com. Upon termination, your stored ZIP files will be deleted within 30 days.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Alchemist PRO is registered. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration before pursuing litigation, except for injunctive relief.
